Q: How do you sign up for Convo Now?

A: For the Deaf/HH community, go here to sign up. If you are not deaf or a business owner who wants to learn more, start here.

Q: I do not have a Convo VRS account. Do I qualify for the Convo Now offer?

A: Absolutely. Please go here to complete your Account. You are not required to have a VRS # to get Convo Now minutes.

Q: What is the difference between Convo Now and Convo VRS?

A: Convo Now is an on-demand virtual interpreting platform for in-person conversations. Convo VRS is our Video Relay Service for phone conversations. Both run on their own apps.

Q: I downloaded the app, but I can’t log in.

A: It could be several things. You may be trying to log in with your Convo VRS information. Convo Now and Convo VRS are two separate apps with different login information.

You also need to set up your account on the website before being able to use the Convo Now app. Go here to sign up!

Q: Is this in the same Convo app? Or do I need to download a different app?

Convo Now is a new app that you will need to download separately. It's available on the Apple App Store, Google Play & Web. (Note that you will not be able to sign up on the app, go here to do so!)

Q: What are Convo Now's service hours?

A: Our hours are 24/7.

Q: What happens if my 20 minutes runs out?

We’ll work with you to find solutions! Just reach out to one of our Customer Success Managers. Reach out to us at account@convorelay.com.

Q: Will my conversation be cut off if I exceed 20 minutes?

A: No, it won’t be cut off, but the next time you want to have a conversation, it won’t be possible. Our team can support you on your options when your minutes run out.

Q: Can I use Convo Now on Zoom or any other video conferencing platform?

A: Yes! Learn how.

Q: Can I use Convo Now anywhere in the world?

A: Yes, anywhere you can use your phone or laptop! For the best experience, make sure you have a strong cellular connection or access to good WiFi.

Q: Who pays for it? Is this service free?

A: We agree that the financial burden should not fall on the D/HH community. However, each step we take is a step closer to achieving accessibility. To get started with your complimentary Convo Now minutes, go here to sign up.

Q: Why am I stuck in Confirmation and Password Reset?

A: Your account has likely already been activated. Please follow the steps in the support guide here.
