There are several possible reasons why you might find yourself not being able to install Convo on Windows:
- Windows is not updated
- Admin privileges
- Network issue
- Software issue
You'll occasionally run into an error when installing software on Windows. The installer may report an error code, say it's unable to write to a folder, or even silently fail. You'll need to resolve the problem so you can install the software.
Windows is not updated
Windows Update is sometimes underestimated as a cornerstone of your system's integrity and security. Microsoft regularly delivers security patches, hotfixes, and software updates through Window Update, and so if this service stops running or is turned off, then Windows can become vulnerable to bugs and security holes.
