To get started, go to our sign-up page and enter your email address.
After checking the first two boxes for the Certification & Acknowledgement and VRS Advisory pages, you'll see a form to fill out.
TIP: If you have a driver's license, please use the same information on your license when filling out your application.
Make sure Personal/Work is selected.
Next, add the last four digits of your social security number (SSN), date of birth, and email address.
Learn more about why the last four digits of your SSN are required. There are also other ways to verify your identity.
If you want, you can transfer your current VP number to Convo. Here's how:
Click on the green Verify button.
If your information is verified, you will see the gray icon become green with a check, like this:

Let's continue with your application.
Next, you will need to add your home address (where you currently live).
If your home address is the same as your emergency address, go ahead and click on Verify.
When your address is verified, you will see this:
IMPORTANT: When you call 911, they will send police/ambulance to your home address unless you add an emergency address.
To add an emergency address, check this box:
Now, add your emergency address.
Then click on Verify.
Next, create your password.
You're nearly done! The next step is to let us know how you learned about Convo.
Then click on the green button to submit your application. You will see this confirmation page:
Please email us a photo or image of your unexpired driver's license or state ID. After you submit the proper documentation for us to verify your identity, you will get an email to select your new Convo VP number.
Click on Get a Convo VP number.
You will be brought to a page to pick your new VP number. Go ahead and select the area code you prefer.
Then pick your preferred VP number and click Next.
You will see this confirmation page.
After we verify your information with FCC, you will get an email from us letting you know that your new VP number is ready to be used!
