Never Stop Dreaming is back! This time we are partnering with Deaf Film Camp and
this contest is open to deaf and hard-of-hearing students aged between 13 and 16.
One winner will receive a free ticket to Deaf Film Camp 2019

Your film submission must:

DEADLINE: Post your film submission on Facebook or Instagram by 11:59 PM EST on Monday, May 6th, 2019.

The prize

One winner will be selected! The winner will receive a free ticket to Deaf Film Camp (DFC) 2019 in Old Forge, NY. 

DFC is a two-week filmmaking camp experience for deaf and hard-of-hearing youth aged 13 - 16, along with the guidance of many talented deaf professionals in film, photography, and design, surrounded by the gorgeous, scenic Adirondack Mountains. 

This free ticket includes camp registration for the July 28 to August 9, 2019 camp session and round-trip travel.

  • Post your video on Facebook or Instagram between April 29, 2019 to 11:59 pm EST on May 6, 2019

The requirements

  • Must be deaf or hard-of-hearing
  • Must be a student aged between 13 and 16
  • Must be a resident in the United States and all United States territories and commonwealths
  • The video must be 1 minute or less in length

Judging 

The videos submitted for this contest will be judged by Felicia Williams from Gallaudet University, Clare Cassidy from Deaf Film Camp, and Wayne Betts Jr. from Convo. They will be judging based on the story and the creativity of the film.

  • Does the story have a clear structure and plot?

2. Creativity

  • Does the film exhibit originality?
